Dependable Staffing Services has an immediate opening for a caregiver to work 1:1 with a spinal injured client in his private residence.

Caregiver position is open for a caregiver to work as a primary day staff (11am-11pm) or for caregivers willing to float between both day shift (11am-11pm) and night shift (8pm-8am).  Ideal caregiver candidate has open availability to work both weekdays and weekends, holidays, etc.

We're looking for a great caregiver to take control of a challenging case and provide some continuity and quality care for a spinal injured client.  Caregiver duties will include - but are not limited to - ADL's, transfer assistance (slide board and towel transfers; no hoyer use), errand running (fill prescriptions, shop for groceries, handle occasional banking needs), laundry services (completed at local laundromat), meal prep, housekeeping (mopping, vacuuming, wiping down counters), catheter prep and general companionship.

All qualified caregiver applicants must have at least one year of recent, applicable experience - either working in the home or working in a long term care or assisted living facility with patients with similar injuries.  All qualified caregivers must also have a current CPR/First Aid card as well as a current negative TB skin test (or a recent negative chest x-ray).
