Dependable Staffing currently has multiple open assignments for a qualified non-medical attendant care caregiver in an in-home/private duty environment.

Caregiver/Companion/Attendant Care assignments through Dependable Staffing primarily will be a 1:1 assignment working directly with a brain or spinal cord injured patient; or occasionally working as the attendant in a rehabilitation home setting working with multiple patients in a residential group home setting.

The caregiver is responsible for providing direct care to brain and spinal injured clients and to ensure that goals for individual independence are being supported in a positive manner.

Caregiver duties may include - but are not limited to - assistance with daily living activities (ADL's), queuing and re-directing behaviors, hoyer and slide board transfers, medication reminders, meal prep, accompanying patients on activities, and working on target goals.

Qualified caregiver candidates will have a minimum of 1 year of recent, applicable caregiver experience (within past 18 months) working with brain, spinal or developmental disabilities either in a similar in-home/private duty environment or working in a Long Term Care Facility and/or Assisted Living Facility.

Caregiver assignments are typically eight, ten and twelve-hour shifts. Days, nights, weekdays, weekends, holidays, etc. are all available!

Additional Caregiver Requirements:

• Current First Aid and CPR Required
• Current negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• 1 yr recent experience
• Continuing Education (DCW, Article 9, Prevention and Support) a plus
• Current Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
