Licensed Practical Nurse

School Nurse needed for long term opportunity in Phoenix. 

We are recruiting experienced LPN’s for several school nurse employment opportunities in an elementary school setting. Nurse will work in office setting Monday- Friday. Must enjoy working around children.  

Performance Responsibilities: 

• Identify, assess, evaluate the physical & mental well-being of students 
• Be aware of/ assist with management of chronic conditions including administering routinely scheduled medications
• Maintain student health and emergency contact records
• Provide necessary assessments of students as outlined in procedures including immunization records
• Maintain logs of student, complaint and outcome of daily visits and care provided
• Provide emergency and routine care for students as needed
• Work with school administrators and professional staff to implement health and safety measures as requested
• Ability to communicate clearly with parents, students and faculty/ school staff

Job requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working as an LPN
• Current CPR/ First Aid
• Current fingerprint clearance card
