Health Aide

Instructional Assistant needed for long-term, full-time classroom employment opportunities.

We are seeking experienced paraprofessionals to work in elementary school settings Monday-Friday through May 26th (the conclusion of the 20/21 school year). Schedule will be in between the hours of 7:00am-3:00pm (typically less 30 minutes for lunch). Current open positions began in-person in March.

Fall placements will be made in June 2021 for August start date for 2021/2022 SY.  This is your chance to get finish this school year off as well as get in for the following school year.

Instructional Assistants work with students 1:1 and/or in small groups under the supervision of certified teacher; maintain a safe and positive learning environment;  follow IEP and behavior plans; clean and organize classroom as needed; implement lesson plan including distributing material; assist students in understanding assignments and projects; supervise children in classroom, on playground, during breaks and field trips; must be able to communicate well with teachers, parents and through charting. Must be dependable, punctual and be able to work Monday-Friday.

Job requirements include current CPR, 1st Aid, Fingerprint clearance card, complete Dependable Staffing employment application and new hire process including CPI training with approved instructor.

These opportunities are long term, full-time positions working in the SPED department. Autism and ED experience a plus but not required.
