Paraprofessionals

We are currently looking for experienced Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessionals for long term placements in SPED classroom settings for the remainder of the spring 2023 semester and 2023/24 SY placements.

Qualified paraprofessionals will have previous classroom experience or experience in behavioral health, must have current CPR and 1st Aid and must have or be able to obtain fingerprint clearance card.

Teacher Assistants will provide assistance to teachers in a classroom environment by working with students individually or in group settings on assignments and projects. May be required to communicate with parents (must be able to communicate well). Will provide materials to students, help implement lesson plans and daily activities and monitor students in the cafeteria and on the playground.

Current TA openings are in self-contained, ED, resource, autism and preschool programs.

• School hours vary by school.
• Scheduled hours will be between 7:30am-4:00pm Monday- Friday.
• Pay rates start at $17.00/ Hr.

All Paraprofessionals must have at least one year experience in the past 18 months as well as have or be able to obtain:

• Fingerprint Clearance card (initial application and fingerprinting offered through Dependable Staffing)
• Crisis prevention training (C.P.I.) (offered through Dependable Staffing)
• Current CPR and 1st Aid
